ווזנר הינו שם משפחה יהודי. ככל הנראה שהשם מקורו משם מקום בגרמניה מהמאה השמונה עשרה[1]. בבדיקה בבית התפוצות לא קיים כל מידע על השם הנ"ל, כמו גם בספרים העוסקים בפרושי שמות משפחה.
ב- Ancestry - רשימות הנוסעים לניו יורק (New York Passenger Lists) מהשנים 1820-1957, מופיעים 17 אנשים הנושאים את השם ווזנר. אחד מהם יהודי בוודאות, 8 ילידי גרמניה , שניים ילידי צ'כיה, אחד יליד אוסטריה ואחד יליד ליטא.

אנשים הנושאים את השם
- חוה אוולין הרמין ווזנר לבית פונגר, נולדה בשנת 1878 בפיישטאני שבסלובקיה לסלומון פונגר ומלכה לבית שטרן, נישאה למאיר הלוי ווזנר מדונאיסקה סטרדה שבסלובקיה. אוולין ומאיר ווזנר נספו באושוויץ בשנת 1944 יחד עם חמישה מילדיהם.
